I have a To Do list that starts my day. It’s a rolling list that never actually gets done. Most tasks roll over from previous days or weeks.
Each day I take a handful of items from the main list and try to complete just those. I rarely get through the entire smaller list. I underestimate how long something takes to get done.
This happens to everyone. We have a selective memory for how long most things take.
Nothing happens fast. Paying off debt, or saving for a 6 month trip around the world also takes a long time. Dedication and consistency are required. You need to make small, regular deposits and smart spending choices. Sticking with it even when it’s hard, slow and often frustrating.
